Rehm Thermal Systems has announced the release of the RFS Firing System, a thermal metallization solution for solar cell manufacturing. Featuring low energy consumption and a compact footprint, the system delivers throughput rates up to 6 m/min and flexible transport systems that enable single-, dual- and triple-lane wafer handling. An integrated residue management system maintains clean process chambers and extends maintenance intervals. With reference products for baseline profiling, it offers profile control and process monitoring. Proprietary Visu2 software incorporates traceability tools, remote diagnostics and a product library.
