Parabolic MirorrsThe Techspec 100Å Off-Axis Parabolic Mirrors from Edmund Optics are used in broadband UV, visible and IR applications.

Each precision-manufactured, interferometer-tested mirror features a diamond turned surface with surface roughness down to 100 Å RMS, producing low-scatter surfaces. TECHSPEC 100 Å Off-Axis Parabolic Mirrors are not wavelength dependent and are therefore free of chromatic and spherical aberration across a broadband range.

The mirrors are ideal for use in instrumentation and laser systems including Schlieren, MTF, FLIR and FTIR, as well as with IR lasers such as quantum cascade lasers.
