TURIN, Italy, May 10, 2022 — Payload RobotThe N-220-2.7 payload robot from Comau is a 220-kg device featuring a modular set up, direct kinematics, absolute calibration, and enhanced algorithms.

The robot features a wide working area, performance level D cartesian safety features, a hollow forearm, and an integrated application dressing. It benefits from its use of direct kinematics, absolute calibration, and evolved motion algorithms for high repeatability and precision. Integrated forklift adapters and optional high-torque washers provide automatic anchoring base fixing, easier relocation and faster installation.

The robot provides supply chain flexibility and cost-effective operation for high-growth market segments such as automotive, metal, food and beverages, fulfillment, plastics, and chemicals.
