SAN JOSE, Calif., June 24, 2014 — BaySpec’s PeakFinder fiber optic Raman probe is designed for background-free spectra and can be used to routinely measure liquids and solids.

The integrated camera can operate on three excitation wavelengths: 532, 785 and 1064 nm easily coupled with any common spectrograph designs. The probe has a spectral range of 250-3900 cm-1.

The Raman probe can be applied to various fields, including biomedical research, counterfeit detection and processing biofuels.
