The EyeSens PharmaCode Reader (PCR) from EVT Eye Vision Technology GmbH is a vision sensor that reads pharmarcode, the seven-digit numerical code for unambiguous identification of pharmaceutical specialties and other products.

The EyeSens PCR consists of a combination of a compact hardware and a software. The software commands are based on the EyeVision image processing software. The vision sensor is available with an integrated lens and illumination or with a C-Mount connection. The EyeSens series is available in resolutions of 736 × 480, 1024 × 768 and 1280 × 1024 pixels. For the all-inclusive sensor versions, three different focal lengths are available.

The command set is based on the EyeVision machine vision software, which offers drag-and-drop programming. The commands can be combined to form an inspection program.
