The Pascal Slim Line photocoagulator from OptiMedica Corp. offers a delivered spot diameter of 60, 100, 200 or 400 μm at the corneal plane. Using the 532-nm diode-pumped solid-state laser, physicians can deliver up to 56 burns in approximately 0.6 s in patterns such as square arrays, single or triple arcs, or macular grids. The device has applications in treating a variety of retinal diseases.
