Photodiode PhotodetectorsExtended 2.6-µm Cutoff InGaAs Photodiode Photodetectors from Marktech Optoelectronics Inc. provide high sensitivity, high speed, and low noise for nondispersive spectrometers, pyrometers, and medical diagnostic devices.

The InGaAs PIN photodiodes have sensitivity wavelength ranges of 600 to 2600 nm with active area diameters of 1 mm. The MTPD2601T-100 InGaAs photodiode is packaged in a TO-46 hermetic metal can and a flat lens. The MTPD2601N-100 InGaAs component uses a TO-46 package with a domed lens. Their high sensitivity, combined with low noise characteristics in the NIR and SWIR wavelengths, make InGaAs desirable for medical devices and wearables, IR spectroscopy, noncontact temperature meters, test instrumentation, communication receivers, and more.
