Photoluminescence Microspectroscopy
CRAIC TechnologiesRequest Info
Craic Technologies Inc. now offers photoluminescence microspectroscopy solutions.
Users of Craic Technologies' 20/30 PV and Apollo II microspectrophotometers now have the ability to acquire photoluminescence spectra and images of microscopic sample areas throughout the UV, VIS and NIR regions. Additionally, photoluminescence-equipped Craic microspectrophotometers can be used to monitor the time dependencies of these spectra using the kinetic TimePro software or map the photoluminescence emission from large-scale objects with microscopic spatial resolution.
Craic photoluminescence modules are offered with lasers ranging from the UV to the NIR. The laser is focused onto the sampling area, which emits light via luminescence. The emitted light is collected by the microspectrophotometer and the spectrum is collected. One important facet of this type of experiment is that it is not diffraction-limited and thus Craic microspectrophotometers equipped for photoluminscence can measure samples much smaller than a micron.
