OLCHING, Germany, Oct. 23, 2014 — Laser Components’ Count photon counters have a reduced dead time of 42 ns, compared to the previous 55 ns.

This reduced dead time offers a maximum count rate of more than 23 MHz. The modules’ tolerance range has increased, allowing a less sensitive reaction to voltage peaks. It also features detectors that are operated by 12 V.
