SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Jan. 3, 2023 — The 800G DR8 Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) from OpenLight Photonics Inc. is designed for the global datacenter interconnect industry.

Users are provided with easy-to-use, validated approach for transceiver production design. On-chip laser integration and high-speed InP-based modulators remove the need for the procurement and attachment of additional lasers into a PIC, offering scalability with high-speed performance and cost at scale to tackle complex designs. The fully validated PIC design features an associated circuit model and available test datasets.
