Picosecond Laser
Eolite LasersRequest Info
Eolite Systems has added a new picosecond laser, the Hegoa, to
its rod-type fiber laser family. The high-power pulsed fiber laser is suitable for
use in a wide range of fine micromachining applications, including cutting, engraving,
thin-film ablation, wafer processing, and microdrilling and scribing in industrial
fields such as photovoltaics, semiconductors, microelectronics, LEDs and flat panel
display processing. It has a rugged optomechanical design for long-lifetime operation,
and it operates at 1030 (infrared), 515 (green) or 343 (ultraviolet) nm, with 30-ps
pulse duration from 0.5 to 6 MHz. Based on proprietary and scalable rod-type fiber
technology, it reaches high average power of up to 60 W at 1030 nm with beam quality
of M2 <1.3. Features include linear polarization and a repetition rate from 200
kHz to 10 MHz.
