The Rapid NX picosecond laser by Coherent Inc. features pulse-on-demand and burst mode operation for materials processing.
It offers 6 W of average power at 1,064 nm and a pulse width of <15 ps. The pulse energy is adjustable up to 50 µJ, and the repetition rate can be varied over a wide range, from 50 kHz to 1 MHz. Applications include photovoltaics manufacturing, LED dicing and thin-film applications.
