AUBURN, Mass., Aug. 10, 2021 — Piezo Flexure StagesThe P-725 PIFOC series of piezo flexure stages from Physik Instrumente LP are piezo motors for autofocus and nanometrology applications with wide travel range and nm precision.

Available in three travel ranges of 100, 400, and 800 µm, the Z-focus stages can be used in applications such as super-resolution microscopy, genome sequencing, wafer metrology, digital pathology, and laser material processing. In addition to providing higher performance, the P-725 stages are also easier to install, more compact, and allow for multiple unities in one microscope turret.

Equipped with direct measuring sensors for high linearity and stability, the frictionless piezo drive ensures rapid response, high stiffness, and a fast settling time of a few ms. The computer-optimized, play-free flexure guiding system enhances repeatability and focusing stability.
