PITTSBURGH, August 1, 2016 — Aerotech Inc. offers the QFOCUS QF-46 piezo nanopositioning stage series, enabling microscope objective and optics positioning at high speeds with nm-level performance.

Available in closed-loop travels of 100 and 250 μm, the stage provides long travel without sacrificing dynamic operation and nm precision, and is designed with next-generation optical instruments and laser machines in mind.

The stages are guided by precision flexures that are optimized using finite element analysis to ensure high-stiffness and long device life. The resulting design offers high stiffness and resonant frequency, enabling high process throughput and fast closed-loop response. It also provides geometric performance for critical microscopy and optics positioning applications.
