Piezoelectric Micro-TubesA new line of ultra-compact piezoelectric microtubes from Physik Instrumente LP feature inner diameters down to 200 μm.

The new ultrasmall piezo tube transducers come in two standard sizes: 0.2/0.5 mm inner/outer diameter with 4-mm length, and 0.9/1.5 mm inner/outer diameter with 15-mm length. Custom geometries and custom materials are available.

The tubes are suitable for nanopositioning, fiber alignment and imaging applications in medical, optics, photonics and microscopy applications.
