OTTAWA, Ontario, Nov. 23, 2022 — Polarity DetectorThe RD-P Remote-head Polarity Detector from JGR Optics Inc. integrates with the IL/RL measurement system to reduce testing time and cost of multifiber optical cable assemblies.

Proprietary sliding detector adapters facilitate the process, saving on cost and improving accuracy. The RD-P has a small form factor, and all tests can be performed with the XN1 Cable Assembly Software. It is suitable for multifiber connectors such as MT and MTP/MPO up to 72 fibers, duplex LC, CS, SN, and others.
