Multi-Channel Benchtop Polarization Dependent Loss EmulatorThe Multi-Channel Benchtop Polarization Dependent Loss Emulator from OZ Optics Ltd. allows users to emulate a known polarization dependent loss (PDL) level for quantifying and studying polarization impairments and effects in a fiber-optic network.

The device features high linear dynamic range, flat wavelength response over C&L bands, low insertion loss, and low residual polarization mode dispersion. The system is configurable with one to 16 independent channels. The unit can be controlled manually via a color LCD touch screen or a computer via the USB interface.
