Polarization-stable VCSELsA multimode vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) with stable polarization from TRUMPF Photonic Components GmbH features surface gratings to enable stable polarization for high-illumination quality.

Functionalities such as linear polarization advance the VCSEL technology with increased illumination quality. With two emission zones, it generates an optical power of 8 mW. Applications include consumer electronics and smartphones with high laser efficiency and aa slope efficiency of 1 W/A with full polarization control.
