Polka-Dot BeamsplittersPolka-Dot Beamsplitters from Teledyne Acton Optics are capable of delivering quality broadband performance by employing a patented UV coating process.

Broadband beamsplitter performance is provided down to 120 nm, depending on the coating and substrate selected. The devices are available with custom spectral ranges spanning 120 nm to 8 µm. In addition to standard UV fused-silica substrates, polka-dot beamsplitters can also utilize calcium fluoride, magnesium fluoride, and sapphire substrates. Standard UV-NIR versions that offer performance from 190 nm to 2.5 µm via the Acton #1900 coating process are available as well.
