Polymer Optical FiberThe RAYTELA® Polymer Optical Fiber from Toray Industries Inc. is designed for minimally invasive surgery.

The fiber is a flexible and efficient transmitter of high-intensity light. It features a significantly wider degree of light broadcasting at the distal end, resulting in significantly smaller diameter devices that require fewer light cables.

Available in four diameters from 250 to 1000 µm, Raytela® is designed for medical device illumination in endoscopy, ureteroscopy, ophthalmic surgery, and other procedures.
