The IPS 400i positioning sensor from Leuze electronic GmbH & Co. KG features a small footprint for double-depth optical compartment fine positioning.
The sensor helps high-bay storage devices quickly and easily find the proper rack. It detects round holes or reflectors in single-depth and double-depth bars, thus determining the position deviation relative to the target position in the X and Y directions. The sensor is particularly suited for use in double-depth pallet, high-bay warehouses. A model with integrated heating for use in refrigerated warehouses down to -30° C is also available.
Its ambient-light-independent IR LED lighting allows fault-free use in warehouse technology with just one single device for a working range of up to 2400 mm. With the integrated TCP/IP interface and PROFINET RT, the IPS 400i can be directly integrated into the network environment to enable quick, location-independent diagnostics.
