OLCHING, Germany, Jan. 28, 2015 — Laser Components precision laserLaser Components’ new precision lasers have a square cross-section, guaranteeing maximum parallelism between the laser beam and housing axis.

The lasers are practical when suitable drilled holes are unavailable or if assembly requires a flat surface. The laser housings have an h6 fit, making it possible to mate with the corresponding boreholes at zero clearance for exact positioning tasks.

The deviation between the housing and laser axes amounts to a maximum of 0.05 mrad (1 mm) at a distance of 20 m. The laser module is eye-safe, has an output power of 1 mW and is available at a wavelength of 635 nm. Other wavelengths and output powers are also available.
