Precision Piezo Lens NanopositionersThe Nano-F Series are closed loop piezo nanopositioners designed for objective lenses. The lens nanopositioners are designed for excellent on-axis motion with up to 200 microns of travel. Each nanopositioner is equipped with Mad City Labs proprietary PicoQ® sensors, which enable high stability, low noise performance with absolute, repeatable position measurement under closed loop control. The Nano-F series is compatible with commercial microscope models and a variety of objective lens diameters. The Nano-F series employs quick mount adapters for ease-of-use can be easily changed for different microscope threads.

As with all Mad City Labs nanopositioning systems, both the piezo nanopositioning stage and the Nano-Drive® controller are included in the quoted price. All Nano-Drive® controllers include low noise, high voltage piezo amplifiers, closed loop feedback control, and our unique PicoQ® sensor electronics for high performance. In addition to standard analog control of the nanopositioning stage, it is possible to add a variety of options including true USB 2.0 digital interfaces, scan synchronization, and more. All digital interface controllers ship with our LabVIEW based Nano-Route®3D motion control software which can be used “as-is” or modified for integration into your own motion control software.

Applications for the Nano-F series of lens nanopositioners include inspection, auto-focus, imaging, super resolution microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, confocal imaging, and light sheet microscopy.
