Precision shims, spacers, washers, and submounts are available from Valley Design in a wide variety of materials from fused silica, glass, ceramics, metals, sapphire, and can be sized to ultra-thin thicknesses, with micron level tolerances. Valley also manufactures substrates, wafers, windows, discs, and other flat optics from these and other materials, many from stock.
