MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 7, 2023 — The Process Design Kit (PDK) Sampler from OpenLight Photonics Inc. offers lab-testing flexibility and design accuracy for PDK elements.

The die-level photonic integrated circuit contains OpenLight's standard process design kit components, enabling customers to comprehensively test elements in their own lab and validate models to enable first-pass success in a PH18DA tapeout. Components include a heterogeneous laser, optical amplifier, 100-G PAM4 EAM modulator, and other active and passive components on Tower's PH18DA process.
