Krell Technologies’ Proton consistently achieves Telcordia compliant, singlemode UPC and APC finishes in a handheld and battery-operated package. Proton incorporates the same independent suspension and optically aligned workholder features found in Krell’s mass-production icon and scepter polishing systems. Designed for fiber-to-the-home, CATV and shipboard environments, Proton can polish connectors sideways and at most orientations, permitting access to cabling in the tight confines of wire closets, cross-connects and fiber nodes. Military-specification and custom adapters are also available.
