Spectra-Physics has introduced two new pulsed fiber lasers, the VGEN-ISP-POD and the VGEN-QS-HE-100.
The VGEN-ISP-POD (pictured) is an IR short-pulse master-oscillator power-amplifier fiber laser with pulse-on-demand capabilities for precision micromachining and marking applications. It features a short pulse width of 1 ns, high peak power of 40 kW and superior beam quality.
The VGEN-QS-HE-100 is a Q-switched high-energy pulsed IR fiber laser with 100-W average output power and up to 1.5-mJ pulse energy for high throughput metal processing applications such as drilling and deep engraving.
Both lasers are housed in robust assemblies fitted with metal-armored fiber cables for industrial use.
