Pump Lasers, Ultrafast Amplifiers

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 17, 2015 — Spectra-Physics AscendSpectra-Physics has introduced a new line of ultrafast regenerative amplifiers and high-power kilohertz diode-pumped solid state (DPSS) green pump lasers.

The new Ascend pump lasers (pictured) deliver >60 W of power and optimal green-to-IR conversion. They offer flexible performance with repetition rates across 1 to 10 kHz range and are available with several output power levels for specific amplifier system configurations.

Pumped by the Ascend lasers, the new Spitfire Ace ultrafast regenerative amplifiers deliver >8 W output power at 5 kHz and >7 W at 1- and 10-kHz repetition rates with <35 fs and <120 fs configurations. The Spitfire Ace PA (power amplifier) models output up to >16 W.

Research applications include multidimensional and time-resolved spectroscopy.
