Pushbroom Hyperspectral Sensor SystemSpecim Spectral Imaging Oy Ltd. has announced the AisaKESTREL pushbroom hyperspectral sensor system, intended for unmanned aerial vehicles and other platforms of limited payload size.

The AisaKESTREL10 model (pictured) is designed for 400 to 1000 nm, while the AisaKESTREL16 is designed for 600 to 1640 nm. The devices detect minute spectral differences in vegetation, water or soil attributes. A high signal-to-noise ratio is featured with radiometrically and spectrally stable data.

CaliGeoPro preprocessing software automatically georectifies all image pixels into true orthoimagery with more than 380 spectral bands.
