DRESDEN, Germany, Feb. 6, 2023 — The LRM-292 pyroelectric detector from InfraTec GmbH is a multi-channel detector with an integrated operational amplifier, thermal compensation, and TO46 housing.

Measuring 4.7 mm in diameter, the system can measure low gas concentrations at small measurement volumes. Two standard integrated operational amplifiers, connected as transimpedance amplifiers, generate the current operation, resulting in higher output signals than voltage mode detectors. Simpler signal processing is enabled with a strong signal-to-noise ratio, even at frequencies >10 Hz. In addition, the LRM-292 has been designed to use only one supply voltage, thereby reducing the amount of circuitry required.
