STUART, Fla., April 29, 2015 — Laser Components Pyro Group pyroelectric detectorsLaser Components Pyro Group Inc. has announced new lithium tantalate (LTO) pyroelectric detectors in current mode.

In current mode, the signal is relatively strong on a low offset with a consistent temperature dependency across a wide range.

The initial products consist of LiTaO3 detectors in a TO-39 housing.
