Pyroelectric Detectors and EmittersThe 55+ series of pyroelectric detectors and emitters from Laser Components GmbH are matched to provide results at wavelengths between 5 and 10 µm.

The pyroelectric detectors in differential mode achieve a high signal-to-noise ratio. The IR emitters offer efficiency at modulations up to 5 Hz and wavelengths up to 15 µm. This package includes the version in the TO-8 housing with a reflector and Winston cone on a standard basis. Alternatively, the emitters are also available in 3×3-mm surface-mount-device housings for miniaturized designs.
