Ophir Photonics, the global leader in precision laser measurement equipment and a Newport Corporation brand, has announced two new pyroelectric laser energy sensors. The PE50BF-DIF-C and the PE100BF-DIF-C are compact devices that provide the industry’s lowest measurable energy, longest measurable pulse width and highest accuracy. The new sensors feature an innovative BF coating and diffuser that deliver the highest damage thresholds: up to 6 J/cm2 for nanosecond pulses.
