The AXUVPS7 quad electron detector from Opto Diode Corp. can detect electron energy levels ranging from 100 eV to 50 KeV.
Part of the AXUV family of sensors, it has a circular active area of 146 mm², with each element having an active area of 36.5 mm². The detector includes a hole in the center of the quad array to conveniently measure reflected electrons. It features a response time of 200 ns, a shunt resistance of at least 10 mΩ, a reverse breakdown voltage of 5 V, and a a typical capacitance of 2 nF. The detector can be stored and operated in temperatures ranging from 10 ° to 40 °C under ambient conditions, and from -20 ° to 80 °C in a nitrogen or vacuum environment.
