Quartz 'Z' Cut WindowsUQG Optics Quartz ‘Z’ cut windows are zero degree or ‘Z’ cut with the optical axis perpendicular to the flat surface.

They are used for windows, retarders and waveplates. Quartz ‘Z’ cut is also used in the waveband above 50 µm in the terahertz region.

UQG Optics has a range of stock sizes for a quick delivery.
