The Accu-Cal 50V radiometer from Dymax Corp. can measure visible light energy from lightguides, flood systems and conveyors. It has a spectral sensitivity from 395 to 465 nm, and it can measure intensities from 1 mW/cm2 to 40 W/cm2. The device’s assembly is designed to protect the photosensor from the high temperatures sometimes associated with high-intensity spot lamps. It has applications in light curing and in measuring transmission rates through substrates.
