Optikos.jpgOptikos Corp. has announced the RAD-900 infrared radiometer for precise measurement of radiometric temperature and spectral radiance. Operating in both the mid- and long-wave infrared bands, it performs NIST-traceable calibration with absolute accuracy up to 0.1 °C. Minimum resolvable temperature difference is 0.002 °C, typical. Calibrated temperature measurement range is from 5 to 70 °C. The device includes a 12-position motorized filter wheel for broad- and narrowband filters, and it automatically compensates for changes in ambient temperature.
