Renishaw Inc.'s Raman Imaging Microscope combines 2-D imaging and scanning spectroscopy in one system. Suitable for research and quality inspection of semi- and superconductors, carbon fibers and diamond films, the microscope scans to a spatial resolution of 1 µm and a spectral resolution down to 0.2 cm-1, and provides graphic output in the form of 2-D Raman images, and 2- and 3-D spectral plots. A 25-mW laser performs the scan. Choices include Ar+, doubled Ar+, HeNe and semiconductor lasers.
