The Raman Explorer is available from Headwall Photonics for applications that include laboratory Raman spectroscopy, remote sensing, process monitoring and noninvasive medical imaging. Suitable for high-application throughput involving detection of weak signals or reduced measurement integration time, the configurable multi-input design enables multiple spectra to be placed onto a single detector plane. Based on a patented, proprietary retroreflective concentric design, the rugged multichannel device has a small form factor for OEM applications. It includes high-throughput f/2.4 optics that ensure high spectral resolution over multiple input slits across extended wavelength ranges while achieving a high signal-to-noise ratio.
