The CDIR785-1024 Raman system from Control Development Inc. features a back-thinned, thermoelectrically cooled 2-D CCD-based spectrograph. Its high-throughput probe has a two-fiber coaxial design, and its excitation source is a 785-nm diode laser with external-cavity stabilization and narrow linewidth. It provides spectral coverage from 200 to 2800 cm-1 and spectral resolution of 5 or 10 cm-1. The systems are suitable for teaching purposes, laboratory and quality control use.
