A dual oscillator alexandrite laser source for particle image velocimetry applications has been unveiled by Light Age Inc. The PAL-PIV laser offers high pulse energy, 500 mJ per pulse, at repetition rates from 0 to 100 Hz at 755 nm. The system comprises two oscillators for a continuous range of time delays from nanoseconds to milliseconds. Both oscillators are packaged in a single compact head.
