Axiom-Analytical_IMG_0086.jpgThe FDR-810 is the first in the 800 series noncontact diffuse reflectance probes from Axiom Analytical Inc. The probes can view samples from 6 to 12 mm in diameter at normal incidence through a drier or a blender window as thick as 15 mm. The design employs coaxial array optical fibers and a single lens to overlap the illuminating and receiving fields of view at a desired distance in front of the probe. The device minimizes optical divergence to eliminate stray light and to provide optimal photometric accuracy. Features include high optical efficiency, a 2.5-cm-diameter form factor, 7- to 15-mm sample offset and 400- to 2200-nm spectral response.
