Olympus_06OMI07-SZX16---LS.jpgThe SZX2 series research stereomicroscopes have been launched by Olympus Life and Material Science Europa GmbH. The SZX16 offers full fluorescence capability and sophisticated documentation. Its maximum numerical aperture of 0.3 produces resolution of 900 line pairs per millimeter, and its zoom ratio of 16.4:1 results in high clarity. Seamless zooming from 3.5× to 230×, combined with parfocal objectives with magnifications of 0.5×, 1.0×, 1.6× and 2.0×, enables whole-organism to cellular-level viewing without major adjustments. An increased stereo effect provides enhanced 3-D vision for micromanipulation applications. The SZX10 is useful for advanced routine applications and identification purposes. Its precision optics deliver flat and distortion-free images to the edge of the field of view, with high-quality natural color for detailed morphological comparisons.
