Aerotech Inc.'s ADRT series direct-drive rotary stage provides angular positioning and velocity control. They are suitable for applications such as high-speed laser machining and precision wafer inspection. This servomotor features a slotless, ironless design, low inertia and no backlash. It can be coupled with the company's MXH series resolution multipliers for resolution of 0.12 arc sec. The motor and the rotary encoder are directly coupled to a common shaft. Other features include dual large-diameter bearings and integral t-slots for integration of custom fixtures and instrumentation.
