Newport Corp.’s AG-PR100 is a high-precision miniature rotation stage that features the proprietary Agilis piezo step direct motor. The stage features 360° of continuous rotation for 1-in.-diameter waveplates and polarizers, and the motor is directly coupled to the moving carriage without an intermediate screw or gear. A ball bearing provides precision motion and ensures better than 100-μrad wobble. The nonresonant motor offers 5-μrad incremental motion for ultrasensitive alignment. Maximum speed is 2° per second. The system offers push-button remote control and USB computer control for two AG-PR100 stages.
