LAWRENCE, Mass., July 26, 2013 — The RS-3500 full-range fiber optic field spectroradiometer by Spectral Evolution is suitable for a range of remote sensing applications, including environmental research, agricultural analysis and climate studies.

The portable 7.3-lb device, which covers the 350- to 2500-nm spectral range, provides autoshutter, autoexposure and autodark correction before each new scan, with no optimization required. It has a 5 × 5-in. reflectance standard, and SMA-905 field of view lenses are available. It has no moving parts.
