The RTLA-30-100-SMART rotary stage by Intellidrives Inc., a member of the compact positioning stages family of linear, rotary, X-Y and vertical lift stages, is suitable for various applications including optics, measurement, alignment, and other laboratory and manufacturing environments.

The device has a footprint of 100 × 100 mm, a center aperture of 30 mm and a profile of 45 mm. Incorporating a worm-gear drive mechanism and bearing components, it offers worm-gear ratios of 180:1, 90:1 and 45:1, which can achieve 30 rpm rotation speed and translated resolution of 1.8 arcsec.

The device is motorized with a SMART motor/coder combination and can be controlled in closed-position mode; it offers multiaxis daisy-chain operation with high-speed torque.

Other features include 360° rotary positioning and a graduated tabletop.
