BRANCHBURG, N.J., Oct. 27, 2017 — Radiation Resistant Glasses Ohara Corp. introduces a new family of radiation-resistant glass types.

Born from an optical glass requirement for robots entering the Fukushima nuclear power plant cleanup, new glasses include S-BSL7R, S-BAL35R, PBM2R, PBM8R and S-BSM22R. The glasses are available in blank and pressing formats, but can also be provided as bulk strip material.
