TÜRKENFELD, Germany, Aug. 31, 2022 — The MDC4 smart filter radiometer from Gigahertz Optik GmbH features centroid wavelength detection and measurement of irradiance for LEDs, lasers, or other monochromatic light sources.

A multi-diode filter sensor and four-channel meter technology with proprietary algorithm is featured, with the correct calibration factor automatically selected to obtain low measurement uncertainty. Its design covers a wide spectral range with multiple sensors sharing a common diffuser for a cosine-corrected field-of-view with f2<5%. The MDC4-1-UVBLUE covers the 300- to 700-nm range, while the MDC4-1-UV covers the 220- to 400-nm range.
