Gooch & Housego has announced the release of the OL 730E series radiometers/photometers. The newest model has a smaller footprint, while providing similar research-grade precision and accuracy. Its internal preamplifier delivers sensitivity of 1 x 10—14 A. It is controlled via a USB interface. Response time is 0.1 s, and full-scale sensitivity ranges from 2 x 10—10 to 2 x 10—3 A. Also being offered with the radiometers/photometers is a series of thermoelectrically cooled detectors that provide enhanced temperature stability over time while using a smaller control unit.
